Fantastic job on creating this icon of a car. I love that you did a “street” version. However, as a 289 FIA Street Cobra enthusiast & owner, this is the body of a 427. This model has the larger 427 grill opening. The 289’s were smaller with a flatter bottom that created a longer hood/nose area. Secondly, between the grill opening and the turn indicator lights there were NO vents on the 289 cars. Thirdly, the gas cap on the 289 slabside cars were located in the middle/center of the sides of the car between the trunk and bulkhead. On the FIA 289’s the gas cap was located just behind the passenger, and if a soft top were fitted, it’d be just inside the soft top. Also, the 289 FIA cars had “cut back” doors that had a concave edge on the rear wheel side. All other details look outstanding. You have quite a talent. Again, well done and thank you.
