yes3D model of a spacecraft, also known as the Eagle, designed to transport two astronauts from the Apollo 11 mission to the surface of the moon. It was built by Grumman Aircraft Engineering and launched into space by the Saturn V rocket on July 16, 1969. The Lunar Module separated from the Command Module in lunar orbit and landed on the moon on July 20, 1969. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin made the historic first moonwalk from the Lunar Module's landing craft, while astronaut Michael Collins orbited above in the Command Module. The Lunar Module ascent stage lifted off from the moon on July 21 and docked with the Command Module for the return trip to Earth.
The model is made in compliance with the proportions and dimensions of the real spacecraft.
