3D model of a British post-World War II main battle tank that served from the early 1950s through the 1980s. It was one of the most widely used tanks in history, with numerous variants serving in the armed forces of many countries. It had a powerful 105mm gun, thick armor, and a top speed of 35 mph. It was also the first tank to feature a stabilized gun, which allowed it to accurately fire while on the move. The Centurion saw action in numerous conflicts, including the Korean War, Suez Crisis, Indo-Pakistani War, and Yom Kippur War. It was eventually replaced by the Chieftain and later Challenger 1 and 2 tanks.
