3D model of a multi-purpose stadium, formerly known as Waldstadion, located in Frankfurt, Germany. It has a seating capacity of 51,500 for football matches, 48,500 for international matches, and serves as the home stadium of Eintracht Frankfurt. The stadium was opened in 1925 and has undergone several renovations and reconstructions over the years, including a major refurbishment in preparation for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, which costed €126 million. It hosted both the opening game and the final of the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup. The Commerzbank-Arena is not only used for football matches, but also hosts various other events, such as concerts and trade fairs. In addition to the main pitch, the stadium has a smaller secondary pitch and an indoor training facility. The stadium is easily accessible by public transportation and is located near Frankfurt Airport. One of the most unique features of the Commerzbank-Arena is its retractable roof, which can be opened or closed depending on the weather conditions. This allows for year-round use of the stadium, regardless of the weather. The stadium also boasts a modern LED lighting system that can be customized to display various colors and patterns, creating a spectacular visual experience for fans and visitors.
