It was opened on September 14, 1997, and was formerly known as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium until the naming rights were acquired by FedEx Corporation. The stadium is the largest stadium in the NFL and features luxurious amenities such as luxury suites, club seats, and an extravagant scoreboard display. The stadium also boasts a state-of-the-art sound system, with over 1,000 speakers, and a high-tech scoreboard, which measures 30 feet by 100 feet.
