3D model of a light helicopter designed by the American manufacturer MD Helicopters, originally developed by Hughes Helicopters. Known for its maneuverability, it is used in a variety of roles, including law enforcement, search and rescue, military operations and civilian transport. The MD 500 first flew in 1963 and has since been widely used by military and civilian operators worldwide. The helicopter is also known for its distinctive teardrop-shaped fuselage and quiet operation due to its five-blade rotor system.
