yes3D model of a compact American car designed for city driving and marketed to the economy segment. Produced by the Nash Motors Company, the Metropolitan was in production from 1953 to 1961. The 1956 model belongs to the second generation of the series (1955-1958), which introduced several updates and improvements. The Metropolitan was originally designed by William J. Flajole and manufactured by the Austin Motor Company in the United Kingdom, making it the first American car to be built entirely overseas. The 1956 model featured a 1.5-liter inline four engine that produced about 52 horsepower and came with a three-speed manual transmission. The car was compact, measuring just 149.5 inches in length, and was considered ahead of its time in terms of fuel efficiency and space utilization.
3D model created maximally close to a real Nash car and based on the dimensions from open sources.
All model files were "smoothed". By request we provide unsmoothed files.
All main parts of the model are separated objects. You can easily change all materials.
We provide several formats for each model, most of them are available by default.
Images are rendered using V-Ray plugin, lighting and environment are not included to a set.
