3D model of an American Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft developed by Northrop Grumman for the United States Navy. Introduced in 1964, the E-2 Hawkeye is characterized by its distinctive rotating radar dome mounted atop the fuselage, which houses a powerful long-range radar system capable of detecting and tracking both airborne and maritime targets. The aircraft serves as a vital "eye in the sky," providing situational awareness, command and control, and early warning for naval fleets and ground forces.
