yes3D model of an ancient pyramid, also known as El Castillo, located at Chichen Itza, a pre-Columbian city on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Built by the Mayan civilisation around the 10th century AD, this nine-tiered step pyramid stands approximately 98 feet tall and has four staircases of 91 steps each, for a total of 364 steps, plus the top platform, which represents the 365 days of the solar calendar. Dedicated to the feathered serpent deity Kukulkan, the pyramid demonstrates the Maya's advanced knowledge of astronomy and mathematics. One of its most fascinating features is the twice-yearly phenomenon of the Serpent's Shadow, which occurs at the spring and autumn equinoxes, when sunlight creates a serpentine pattern that appears to slither down the northern staircase.
3D model based on the original dimensions of a real building.
All main parts of the model are separated objects. Therefore, you can easily change all materials. We provide several formats for each model, most of them are available by default.
All objects and materials in a scene are named appropriately. Files do not contain extraneous or hidden objects.
* images rendered with using V-Ray plugin (we don't include lighting and environment to a set).
