yes3D model of a Formula One racing car designed and built by the Renault Sport Formula One Team for the 2016 Formula One season. It marked Renault's return as a full-fledged constructor after acquiring the Lotus F1 Team. The R.S.16 made its competitive debut at the Australian Grand Prix and was driven by Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer. The car was designed under the technical direction of Nick Chester and featured a Renault R.E.16 V6 hybrid engine. The R.S.16 sported a predominantly black livery with flashes of yellow, reflecting the team's classic colors and corporate identity. Throughout the season, the car faced performance and reliability challenges as the team adapted to its new ownership and development direction. Renault finished ninth in the Constructors' Championship, amassing a total of 8 championship points. The R.S.16's best result came at the Russian Grand Prix, where Magnussen finished seventh.
