3D model of a German assault gun used during World War II. It was based on the chassis of the Panzer III tank and designed to provide direct-fire support to infantry. It had a low profile and was heavily armored, making it an effective weapon against enemy tanks and fortifications. The StuG III (short for Sturmgeschütz III) was one of the most produced armored vehicles of the war, with over 10,000 units built in various versions. It played a significant role in many important battles and campaigns, such as the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of Kursk.
