3D model of a classic American automobile produced by the Willys-Overland Company. Introduced in 1927, the Whippet Model 96 was designed to be a compact, affordable, and fuel-efficient car that could appeal to a wide range of customers during a period of economic prosperity in the United States. The car was developed under the direction of John North Willys, the company's founder, who wanted to create a vehicle that could compete with the successful Ford Model T. The Whippet Model 96 featured a 2.4-liter in-line four-cylinder engine that produced about 30 horsepower, providing impressive performance for its size and price. The car came with a three-speed manual transmission, hydraulic drum brakes, and a comfortable and well-appointed interior. The Whippet Model 96 became one of the best-selling cars of the late 1920s. Production of the car continued until 1931, with thousands of units manufactured and sold worldwide.
