General rules:

  • 1)

Create a car 3D model, add 3D environment (you can create more than one car in the scene), textures. Then create a beautiful 3D rendering of it (or them). Think creative. We will accept also pickups, vans and small trucks. Tanks, huge trucks, buses, motorcycles as "main character" are not accepted.

  • 2)

Your entry must be a 3d rendered image. Environment should be made in 3D; we permit the use of HDRi for sky and some parts of landscape. Works with photo background will not be accepted.

  • 3)

The work must not have been previously published anywhere, neither online or offline. It must be original art created by you specifically for the challenge (no existing projects, stock models or concepts made by other artists).

  • 4)

You have to submit a link to the "Work in process" to prove the authorship. You are free to make WIP on any website. Good examples: Maserati Boomerang, Already in Apocalypse, Drift and Double-decker. Works without WIP will not be accepted.

  • 5)

You can submit only one work.

  • 6)

To win the competition the quality and idea of the work are important. You need to think about the story behind the image. Make sure everything supports your message - composition, lighting, colors etc. Make a greater emotional impact.

  • 7)

Please, provide your work with a short story.

  • 8)

Add the link to the competition or name of the competition in one of the image corners.

  • 9)

Attach one wireframe or clay render at your choice to your work - we will place it below your work.

Demands for your render:

  • 1)

The render should be at least 1500 pixels wide if the work is horizontal.

  • 2)

Render size should not exceed 2 mb and should be in .jpg format.

  • 3)

Work can be in any style you like (low-poly, cartoon, futuristic etc), with using post production.

  • 4)

Renders with solid background (one color: black, white etc, test renders, screenshots) and models laid on wallpapers or on photos will not be admitted to take part in the competition. As well as works with adult content: not allowed works with blood, violence, erotic and political topics.

Other possibilities

  • 1)

The work can be updated during the competition. The only condition - you can not change the idea of the work, or modify it drastically. Only reasonable changes allowed.

  • 2)

You can correct the description and the list of tools after the work was submitted - just contact us.

  • 3)

After your work is published on the competition page, you are free to share your work on other websites and social networks.

  • 4)

You can see previous competitions here and "Hall of fame" here.

After sending the work via the contact form you will receive within one business day a confirmation letter with a link to a page in the competition gallery. If you don't receive the letter, please contact us.

Within one week after the competition ends the jury will determine the winners and we will publish the results. We will estimate the idea of your work, visual component, atmosphere and total amount of the work done.

Waiting eagerly for your work!
