Grand Paa’s El Camino

Unless you’re born with a silver spoon in your mouth, most readers will relate to this. We were all young once upon a time, and as such probably owned a shed on wheels. Whether it was your first car, or a later project, we’ve all kept some sort of crazy rides.

This is the story of my grandfather, who was found of both trucks and car and what better could have he asked for to be launched than the Chevrolet El Camino. The car integrated the cab and the cargo bed into the body. But as they say " But dreams come slow and they go so fast " so like a lot of aspirations and dreams that are lost in their way to growing old this was one too. He would tell us stories of his half car half truck vision. When I think of him from that era, I see him with his sleeves rolled up standing in front of his El Camino.

And so I decided to recreate his vision his dream by rendering a car of his choice that he had always dreamnt of.
