The castel of Chenonceau is located near from the center of France. It is a castle in two parts, the first is located on the banks of the river Cher and the second is a long gallery that crosses this river. It is nicknamed the Ladies' Castle because it was built, fitted out and inhabited by the first ladies of France. It is to Catherine de Medici that we owe the great gallery. There is something magical about this castle when the sun goes down. The river reflects its gallery as in a princess tale. This aquatic castle is one of the most beautiful in this region.
