Scorpions

An alien ship is spotted in our solar system. It is more or less a year away and it is targeting Earth.

The International Space Agency announces the news to the public and governments around the globe are trying to be as prepared as they can be for the imminent encounter. Nobody knows the intentions of these beings. We can only recognize their superior technology.

The ISA is in a race against time, in order to build the ultimate weapon to fight back; if necessary.

The weapon is the Scorpion, a survival vehicle with the latest technology as well as the deadliest weapons in its arsenal.

It is built in a top-secret base where the area is already polluted and abandoned so that it can be tested under the most challenging conditions.

The vehicle can host 12 people crew. It is powered by sunlight, using solar panels; and as for the provision of water there is a system that gathers and filters rainwater on the roof. It has a significant distance from the ground and a lifting system with pumps in order to easily pass through any physical barriers. After 2 months of work, and with the help of 3D printing technology, the prototype is ready for its first ride in the rocky hills around the base.
