One of the science group at planet X will discover a possible new energy source - crystals of unknown nature. They started to appear from the ground after the first transport landed on the planet. Since the first contact scientists realized how helpful this could be for a terra-forming due to its incredible properties such as infinite heat and energy source. So far they don't know how deadly this material is for all living beings and harmful for the human mind. Later it will be called "Tiberium".
