Evening Forgetfulness

I imagine a boy left his toy gun out in the lawn when he got called in for the evening. This is a modified Nerf RapidStrike CS-18, honestly a joy to model and texture! I bought one for reference and I feel like the most awesome kid in the world! My original concept was a very gritty piece where maybe a man would appear to have been shot in a dusty old alleyway, but he would have an orange dart on his forehead and be holding a pair of these toy guns, leading us to realize he's only pretending! But that was a bit too much for me to tackle, so I went a more gentle route. I hope looking at it makes you feel peaceful, like a calm summer evening.
