It all starts with the research and collecting as many references as possible: blueprints, photos from different angles (from amateurish photos to professional ones), verifying the history of the versions and modifications. We also use actively forums, Google and Wikipedia. As the result, we have such a collage with lots of notes and corrections.
After all these preparations we are ready to work directly in a 3D program. You can find the process of modelling in our blog here. The process takes on average from fifty to sixty hours. We pay our attention to all parts and small items that can be seen on your render: we work out in detail logos, tires, license plates of the car, etc.
Our main purpose is to reduce the use of textures to a minimum. Of course, the detailed elaboration always meets the requirements of the client and may include detailed interior, detailed underside of the car, rigging and special texturing. All these things are discussed beforehand and, if necessary, demand the work of the whole our team of experts. For example, we get an artist to take part in drawing textures and an animator for rigging.
The final product is verified by our experienced and exacting Team Lead, who presents to the 3D model a number of professional requirements and checks its correspondence with all up-to-date 3D modelling standards. Each 3D model should correspond to the original, therefore, finding out the least discrepancy, our Team Lead sends the model back for revision.
Our goal is to save you time and keep you as much as possible from the routine. As the final result, 3D model is sent for rendering and to the pages of our electronic store.
