The Last Brave Explorer

In a distance future, a brave explorer of world's, finally found a living specimen of a plant, something mankind has long searched throughout the vastness of the universe to no avail. Eager to let the others back in Earth (now a desolated landscape) hear the news, he gets back into his spaceship initializes the return journey. Unfortunately, something goes wrong, and his spaceship gets caught in the middle of a meteor shower. Parts of his ship get blown to bits, including the storage where he kept the flower. He dashes out into space caring more about recovering this precious specimen than with his own life, as this plant represents the future of mankind.
