Already in Apocalypse

How many memories causes this place!

There is a street where I grew up and a cozy yard where I played baseball with my friends. I gave all my power and passion for the the winning because at that moment there was nothing more important than to prove to a bunch of teenagers that I worthed something.

There is a McDonald's restaurant on the corner where I first saw her. Why I did not come up and talk to her then? How more exciting my life could become?

There is a factory where my father worked. I hardly saw him. The work replaced his family. Now it is funny to remember how sincerely he believed that a new refrigerator, a new car and TV set would make his life happier.

Further along the road is located the hospital where my mother worked. She completely devoted her life to caring for others, without a thought of herself. She gave the last and did not refuse to help any living soul. She was such a good person but completely lost herself.

How strange, the lives of most of people were already an apocalypse, even before everything crashed!

If I could then just to imagine how fragile the world is and how valuable every day of this world is!
