Beauty and the Beast

I wanted to turn around and play with the misconception in the popular culture that the outer space is dangerous place inhabited by warring species that needed to be conquered and subjugated. But if it is the other way around? If human race from planet Earth are the Beast aiming to destroy the harmless Beauty? And I got the idea of creating the imaginary world on planet of giant colourful butterflies and strawberry moon and the rustic space rover in the middle of it.

My project is a concept image on early stage that I look forward to work with for further development by increasing the level on details of prototypes and environment. The rover is (not exact) copy of space rover from movie The last days on Mars (2013). All the models on scene, texturing, lighting and postproduction are done by me.
