Volvo C30 Polestar

Volvo's new goal, becoming a company that only produces electric cars. This is Volvo's new C30 Polestar. 550bPh fully electric car, It has a range of 300 km thanks to the new lighter batteries. The car is designed to be a city car.

I'm studying industrial design in Sweden, so of course I've designed a volvo! The car has been a side project from school, it started as a few sketches, then into 3ds Max. I have not done that many models in 3ds Max before this so the model may need some more work.

The image is made up of a groundplane with a pattern. A simple model to simulate a building behind the car, then a plane with a picture of Shanghai's skyline on to get some reflections. Then I'll release it in Keyshot with some lights and a warm HDRI to get a little "feelin" in the picture.
